The world’s shortest man has been found! A 72-year-old man from Nepal is most likely the shortest person in the world, standing just 56 centimeters (22 inches) tall. This amazing little old man is named Chandra Bahadur Dangi and he lives in a emote village 400 km west of Katmandu.
He spent his entire life without going to any doctors or without even leaving his home village, that’s why he only recently discovered that he might be the shortest person on the planet. Due to his intriguing height, the man has never been married, and wasn’t able to work outside his house, so he spent all of his adult life doing chores around the place he lives in.

Speech-jamming Gun Making People Stop Talking!

Annoying Conversations? This amazing new Speech-jamming Gun Makes People Shut Up!
Speech jamming Gun 1 Speech jamming Gun Making People Stop Talking! Pictures Seen on www.VyperLook.com
Have you ever wished you had a mute button in real life so you can make people stop talking? Well it’s finally here! A team of Japanese researchers have invented a Speech-jamming Gun which makes people stop talking, thus allowing you to put an end to the nonsense rambling of others. This hand held gun offers you the possibility to stop people from talking, if they are within a range of 100 feet of you.
If you were wishing for a mute button for your mother-in-law or, dare we even say, for your girlfriend, your prayers have been answered! Humanity now has its very own speech-jamming device which simply makes people stop talking. Pretty neat huh?
How does this wondrous tool work?
Speech jamming Gun 4 Speech jamming Gun Making People Stop Talking! Pictures Seen on www.VyperLook.com
Its principle is quite simple when you think about it (I wonder why no one thought of it sooner?) It is a well known fact amongst psychologists, that a person is incapable to continue talking if his words are played back to him with a delay of a fraction of a second.
Well, taking that into account, Japanese researches, Kazutaka Kurihara from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology in Tskuba along with Koji Tsukada from Ochanomizu University, have come up with a simple device which consists of a microphone and a speaker, which, when pointed towards someone who you think won’t stop rambling, will record their words and play them back with a delay of 0.2 seconds.
Speech jamming Gun 3 Speech jamming Gun Making People Stop Talking! Pictures Seen on www.VyperLook.com
Tests have shown that this ingenious device is quite effective: when aimed at a person, it causes them to stop talking, without causing any physical discomfort for the annoying speaker (unlike yourself, whose ears were being rampaged by the talking).
Are there any downsides?
Well… further tests have showed that the speech-jamming gun could easily shut up a person who was carrying out a “reading news aloud” task, but sadly, when it comes to spontaneous monologues, results were less impressive.
Thankfully, there is hope for all of you out there who are already thinking you should go out and buy it before that annoying aunt comes to visit. Apparently, the “tool” is more effective if the delay with which the words are repeated varies.
Speech jamming Gun 2 Speech jamming Gun Making People Stop Talking! Pictures Seen on www.VyperLook.com

Ok, so apart from using it to win a never-ending conversation, what else is it good for?
nagging Speech jamming Gun Making People Stop Talking! Pictures Seen on www.VyperLook.com
Well, this amazing device can have multiple purposes, and since its inventors declared that they renounce all commercial rights, the options are limitless
1. Reduce stuttering
stuttering Speech jamming Gun Making People Stop Talking! Pictures Seen on www.VyperLook.com
Tests have also shown that if used with subjects who have a speech problem causing them to stutter, the speech-jamming gun can help them be more aware of their phrases, reevaluate their own speech and eventually, stop stuttering all thanks to this simple invention.
2. Maintaining silence in a library
quiet Speech jamming Gun Making People Stop Talking! Pictures Seen on www.VyperLook.com

Remember what it’s like to go to the library in order to find a quiet environment to study for that really hard test you have coming up, but when you get there, there’s a bunch of people who mistook the library for a bar? Well have no fear, the “shut up gun” is here!
The new invention can be used to assure silence in a public library, but what would the “shh-ing” librarian do if her job is taken by a gun?
3. Other purposes
silence Speech jamming Gun Making People Stop Talking! Pictures Seen on www.VyperLook.com
-> shutting the nattering kids who sit behind you at the movie theater and won’t let you enjoy the film. all you have to do is reach in your handbag and silence them up!
-> teaching people how to speak in turns. It may seem elementary, but seriously, when it comes down to it, we simply do not know how to wait our turn to speak
-> shutting politicians up… Hallelujah! We never thought we’d see the day… but here it is, a gun you can actually point at a politician, and it will magically make him shut up, without physically hurting him (oh why didn’t we think of this sooner?)
Of course, the effect could very easily be blocked by wearing a simple pair of earplugs, which leads us back to square one, but hey, it’s not like we’re gonna start carrying earplugs in our bags, right?

Newborn Baby:

It's a newborn, still in the sac. Giving birth with the amniotic sac intact is called a "veiled birth." It is very rare but it is possible. It is less painful because the water cushions the baby's head, meaning less bruising for both of you. Don't worry about the baby drowning, he or she will not take a first breath until he/she hits the air for the first time, and the placenta will continue to provide oxygen until that happens...

Chinese man kept alive for 13 years with homemade dialysis machine:

A man in China suffering from kidney disease has been using a homemade dialysis machine for the last 13 years.

homemade dialysis machine

Mr Hu Songwen, from Nantong, Jiangsu province, was diagnosed with uraemia in 1993, reported the Guangzhou-based Southern Weekly. For six years, he received 13 dialysis treatments a month and this used up his family's savings, the paper reported.

Mr Hu began experimenting with the machine in 1996, buying the necessary parts and solutions to conduct blood-filtering treatment at home. He said the process costs only 60 yuan (S$12) each time, eight times cheaper than the cost of haemodialysis in a hospital.

Mr Hu built his own haemodialysis machine with medical equipment, such as a blood pump and plastic tubing bought from a local market, reported Xinhua news agency. Three times a week, Mr Hu sits on a small toilet in his home and fires up his homemade dialysis machine.

Mr Hu mixes potassium chloride, sodium chloride and sodium hydrogen carbonate into purified water to make dialysis fluid before undergoing the procedure.

"Most people who suffer from kidney disease are unaware of the theory behind the machines," he said.
